Celebrate Women!

I've been in sorrows kitchen and licked out all the pots. Then I've stood on the peaky mountains, wrapped in rainbows, with a harp and a sword in my hands. - Zora Neal Hurston

I'm excited to celebrate another history month. That's right, this month, in the midst of our country's patriarchal legislation against women's rights, we must celebrate and acknowledge that we wouldn't dare imagine a world without women, their love or their power. .

I love Zora's quote so much that I use it in my keynote speech about overcoming the obstacles that stand in the way of us becoming the extraordinary leaders that live inside of each of us.

I continue to be inspired by my hometown.

Here are just a few of the amazing women in New Orleans who can speak to Zora's words from Dust Tracks on a Road. Click each link to learn about them. You won't be sorry.

The stories of these women and countless other leaders ground my reason for hosting a leadership retreat in New Orleans. I can't wait to share my city's history of leadership with you.

No matter what industry you are in, if you are an aspiring leader or a seasoned one, the Level Up Leadership Lab New Orleans experience is for you. You haven't had a learning opportunity like this! Click anywhere on the photo below to learn more and apply.
